Less clutter,
more memories.

Photos you took and never looked at again. We make apps that clear them out gently and bring them back by date.

Follow one photo
  1. 01 · Pile up

    Each one mattered.
    Now there are thousands.

Near-duplicates, blurry shots, screenshots. When you want to look back, it is hard to know where to start.

  2. 02 · Clear — Declutter

    Keep only
    the keepers.

Photos taken back-to-back are grouped together, and one swipe decides whether each stays or goes.

  3. 03 · Look back — Photos

    What is left
    finds its date.

Follow the photos on the calendar back to the day they were taken.

Made
after work.

afterwork labs is a small studio that builds apps in the hours after work. We would rather make tools worth keeping around than make something big.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Both apps process photos on your device only. Photo and video files are never sent to a server. The one exception is place names: if you turn them on yourself, either app sends the coordinates where a photo was taken to Google to look up an address. They are off by default.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up or login. Install and start.

When will the apps be released?

Both apps are being prepared for Google Play. For Declutter you can join the waitlist on its own page.

How much do they cost?

Declutter has a 3-day trial, then it is free with daily limits or a one-time lifetime purchase. Photos is free. Details are on the pricing page.

Is there an iPhone version?

The apps are Android only for now.

Can I get back photos I removed with Declutter?

Yes. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, and removed photos go to the Android system trash, where you can restore them.
